On arrival at our store in Nailsea, we like to make every one feel welcome whether you are looking to purchase a gift or a room full of furniture. Choosing the right furniture can require time, thought and planning and our friendly & experienced staff have been trained to provide expert advice to help you with your selection.  
We are always looking for new ideas and styles for the modern and traditional home, so our displays in the shop are regularly changing. If you can not see what you are looking for please do not be afraid to ask as we keep many varied ranges in stock that are not always on display.  
We cater for all ages and for those who may have special requirements.  
As an independent family run furniture store the strength of our business has been built upon the high level of service and support we give to our customers. In turn, we demand this same level of support from our suppliers, and in doing so over the years have been able to build up strong and reliable relationships with them.  
In the main we endeavour to source products that are made in the UK and Europe, and that are not widely available in the area, and from companies with sound green credentials who source timber from properly managed and sustainable forests.  

Brief History:-

Originally established in 1965 by John Orchard, with his wealth of furniture experience, having been on the road selling furniture since leaving the army after the end of the Second World War.  
The business originally operated out of Portishead High Street selling all kinds of furnishings including carpets and curtains, with warehousing at one time in Clevedon. In 1985 the business opened a new store in Nailsea Town Centre and later transferred its extensive warehousing to modern facilities near by.  
Today, the Nailsea store continues to thrive under the guidance of Robin Orchard with the support of his widely experienced staff.
